The Claire and Michel Lemay Fund, managed by the King Baudouin Foundation, has awarded prizes to three students for their innovative end-of studies projects in Internet technologies. The awards ceremony ended the session marking the new 2012-2013 academic year at the Eurometropolitan e-campus in Tournai.
Séverine Filleul, who has a Bachelor’s Degree in e-business from the Haute École Provinciale de Hainaut – Condorcet, was awarded a prize of €500 for her work Les réseaux sociaux d’entreprise: étude du cas BNB. (Corporate social networks: a BNB case study)
Romain Brunot and Simon Leroux were awarded a €500 prize for their interactive audio-visual installation STEREO SCOPIA, completed as part of their Master in Digital Arts at the Académie des Beaux-Arts of Tournai.
The next prize-giving will take place in September 2014, with the addition of two further prizes:
A €1,500 prize for the best joint end-of-studies work completed as part of the Bachelor’s Degree in e-business and Master’s Degree in Digital Art;
A €2,500 prize for a joint project between students and companies or creators of a start-up business.
