Thanks to the Léon Courtin-Marcelle Bouché Fund and the Baillet Latour Fund, a series of 17th, 18th, and 19th century paintings have been able to be restored for the museums of Verviers.

The reliquary of the rib of Saint Peter, which is part of the Treasure of Oignies, is the focus of a research project on saints’ relics dating from the first century. Analysis of a microscopic sample extracted from the reliquary should enable the relic to be dated and provide information about its origins.
