Various funds enable us to preserve significant pieces of our heritage and enrich our public collections.

In line with its yearly tradition, the Heritage Fund will be presenting its latest acquisitions at the BRAFA, to be held between 23 and 31 January at Tour & Taxis, Brussels. Among other masterpieces to be discovered at our stand are a watercolour by Spilliaert, a lace bedspread and a Coptic headdress.

From the proposals sent in by Belgian embassies all over the world, the jury of experts chose 3 winners.

This exhibition, devoted to the Liege painter and engraver Armand Rassenfosse – held at the Bibliotheca Wittockiana in Brussels from 30 September 2015 to 31 January 2016 – and the accompanying publication provide a new approach to Rassenfosse’s work as an illustrator.

On October 15 2015, the Laubespin-Lagarde Fund is organising a study day at the Château de Freÿr. It will be a marvellous opportunity to discover the results of archaeological excavations as well as research into the estate’s rare orange trees.
