The launch of the Private Art Support Foundation Fund took place on 21st September in the presence of the Flemish Minister for Culture, Sven Gatz, and Thomas Leysen, President of the King Baudouin Foundation.
Initiated in 2012 by a group of Limburger entrepreneurs, the project aims to save and promote works of leading contemporary artists. After just 5 years, a significant collection had already been assembled, but there remained the question of securing the collection’s future and working together with museums. To find a solution, PASfoundation has created a fund in its name, to be managed by the King Baudouin Foundation.
As a real partner of the PASfoundation, the Fund is an instrument that can not only secure the future of these works of art, but also develop a structural relationship with museum institutions and encourage philanthropy in the field of contemporary art.
